Welcome to JAV
Designs & Georgia Pottery with Jim & Valerie. Here you will be able to view many
examples of our earliest work as well as some of our most current pieces with many available for
sale. We make all of our pottery food safe in stoneware and porcelain and
we fire using our cone 10 high fire
gas reduction kiln and also high fire in in an electric oxidation kiln.
Jim makes all of our own glazes from chemical recipes for the gas kiln and
many for the electric kiln. We have also opened up a studio gallery where
people will be able to purchase items from our collection as well as from
local artists. Currently we sell mainly at craft shows as well as online
